How to get a recruiter to really help

Improve your chances of a recruiter helping with these two tips:

I was meeting with a client recently who got a call from a recruiter. The recruiter was asking her to submit an application very quickly for an opening and I thought that the client did something that was really smart. She said is there anything on my resume that I should pump up or improve so that I would score high for that position ... honestly ...  is there anything I can do? And the recruiter gave her a couple of suggestions and then the client did the second tip that I really strongly encourage you to do. 

She made those changes immediately and got those edits to the recruiter right away. Which is my second tip. Oftentimes, we take too long responding to a recruiter who is trying to get us in for a certain position. If they call and ask you to tweak something, tweak it right away and get it turned in and improve your chances of getting a job.
